Gaby finds a rare black palm cockatoo in a back alley dumpster. She and the whole Ghostwriter Team are psyched about the bird and set out to find more information about it, with the help of an old adversary--Calvin Ferguson. But, someone else is looking for the cockatoo, albeit going through some drastic measures just to get their hands on the bird. Little do Gaby or the team realize that a disgruntled taxidermist and his assistant are the ones behind this latest scheme.

Can the Ghostwriter Team protect the lost palm cockatoo? Will the scheming taxidermist and his assistant nab the bird before the team can learn more about where it came from?
